Hi, it’s Sue McVeigh VA, and it’s still daylight when I’m doing my Facebook Live. It’s day 60, 6–0, of my Facebook Live Challenge. I have just finished work just after 5:00 clock on Sunday. Finished my work. I have been literally nonstop, probably six days in a row, hardly any breaks. Up early, like I said, it was 5:00 every morning. This morning it was 7:30, so I had a sleep in.

But yeah, just loving, loving being in flow and working methodically through all the tasks I need to do. I always worry and think I don’t want to get too busy, because what happens if I’m too busy, if I get exhausted, if I get depressed, if I get anxious? It’s all what ifs. Okay, I know my body. I know my brain. And there were two days that I just needed to go back and have a nap in the afternoon, maybe an hour.

But I just listen to my body, give it what it needs. Lots and lots of water, fresh air, going outside, a bit of fresh air, even hanging washing on the clothesline in the sun just to actually get out and freshen myself up and recharge in the sun, and then come back. And I just, I could walk out into the lounge room and surprise the family by actually being present tonight, being in the lounge when we sit around and watch TV, or just being. Just hugging my little boy and chatting to everyone and having tea together. So it’s like a marathon, but I’ve made it. I’ve made it. So it’s good to, I think, to prove to myself that I could do it.

When you’ve got that drive to achieve and to finish, and when in doubt, I think of my husband getting up at 4:30 every morning for the last 26 years and working long days so that we can have a roof over our head and meals on the table. I just don’t think twice. It’s just a matter of, this is my turn to provide and to show the family that there is a lot of hard work, and I may not be around as much, but when I am around, I’m much happier. I’m not grumpy. And I am excited and I’ll cook tea because it’s a good time for a break. The kids have been helping me cook and they’ll do the shopping and everyone’s pitching in. Everyone’s just helping out, doing things to make it easier for me. So I am just over the moon and happy to have had the work done and ready to take on tomorrow.

So, yeah. Day 60 Facebook Live Challenge. I’ll be here tomorrow. Thank you. Bye.
